Had an interesting conversation with a Think and Grow Rich coaching student – who knows better – yet put his energy into a something that could only cause him pain and suffering.

He expressed a belief as fact that police officers are all on steroids and fixated on power and bullying people or beating them up – in general, abusing their authority and protecting their own.

I told him I’ve been around cops over the 10 years I was a newspaper reporter or editor and knew many officers very well, and they were all good people.

He also thought that the video cameras set up in squad cars commonly these days must only be used in rare occasions when the police are doing their jobs and not abusing their power (as absurd as that sounds, he really believed these things, for whatever reason).

He seemed surprised and wanted me to confirm that I didn’t see any cases of police brutality or any abuses of power during the time I worked every day on the police beat, and I knew two officers who were husbands of people I worked with or friends. I also used to have a thing about driving fast or driving “somewhat” aggressively before shall we say I mastered the way I’m creating my life, by becoming the master of my mind…. and had many firsthand experiences with flashing red lights and being on the receiving end of traffic stops.

Other than the one time that supports his belief when I was in college and bribed an officer through a mutual friend, where the gentleman later got into some trouble of his own after being videotaped having sex on his squad car with a prostitute…. I have had nor seen any issues with police other than them being professional, polite and carrying themselves respectfully and in a dignified manner.

I told our friend I bet it’s fewer than 2 percent of officers are as he has generalized all law enforcement officials to be.

Then I pointed out to him the story about a traveler walking toward a new town and meeting a guy walking from that town saying “you don’t want to go there, everyone’s selfish, they’re mean, no one offered to give me a place to sleep or a warm meal, it’s a bad place to go” and the traveler thanked the man for his concern yet continued walking toward the town.

A few miles later he meets another guy walking from the town who says “you’re going to love it there, everyone is really kind and charitable. They all took me in and made me feel very welcome. As warm and friendly a people as you will ever see!”

That’s exactly as it is in life, always:

“Our experiences conform perfectly to our expectations.” – Dan Klatt

Because I believe people are honest, respectful and trustworthy, whether they work in law enforcement or not, that’s exactly how the people I interact with are. My expectations continue to be proven over and over again.

Our friend, however, may have different experiences by going into a situation expecting the worst, which is exactly what he is then far more likely to find, instead of expecting the best.

Think about the expectations you have, and then the things that happen to you as a result – and become aware of the direct correlation.

That, my friend, IS what Think and Grow Rich and The Master Key System hammer within us, which is why both trainings are mandatory reading in my new “CarnegieCentre WealthChat Prosperity Intensive” that at this point is still free at WealthChat.com although I may soon begin charging $197 per month, which is what it’s worth.

Share your comments on these things in the “Think And Grow Rich Mastermind”, or post them here if you haven’t joined yet.

Twitter technical issues require us to communicate differently, and you're rewarded by reading this post, through some important coaching and a valuable gift worth $197/month.

Hi Everyone,

Thank you for following my Think and Grow Rich quotes and other personal growth wisdom and inspiration – I hope you are well served by them. In a minute I’ll give you a special gift to thank you for reading this post.

Because communicating with you in a timely way is important to me, I wanted to let you know that for some reason I get the “Something is technically wrong – thanks for noticing” error message when I go to Twitter.com, and also when I’m logged in and click “Home” – meaning I’m unable to Tweet or read your replies to my previous tweets.

Use this work-around to get your Think and Grow Rich Quotes while Twitter isn’t working right

(As a side note, I also do not see DMs because I just have too many to even open, more than 35,000 I will not see yours if you DM me.)

Please follow me through my other Twitter account, twitter.com/ThinkAnGrowRich – for some reason that account is working fine. (This happened before where some accounts on one server weren’t working. It lasted several days.)

I am able to retweet posts from the other account so I can still give you the Think and Grow Rich Quotes of the Day you have come to value and expect from me. I just can’t reply to any comments you share through the main account.

To reach me, until Twitter corrects this technical issue, please e-mail me at dan@CarnegieCentre.com.

I mentioned I had a valuable gift for you to thank you for reading this.

That gift is the “CarnegieCentre WealthChat Prosperity Intensive“ at WealthChat.com.

That gift, in fact, is worth $197 per month, and it’s yours at this time for free. It’s a set of videos that allow you to do the CarnegieCentre Apprenticeship at home, and follow along with the progress of Scott, who’s doing the Apprenticeship in the videos.

(Believe me, his issues, stumbling blocks – and successes – will be things you can relate to and you will also benefit from the coaching I give him.)

So enjoy this valuable Think and Grow Rich gift, and thank you for following me through my back-up Twitter account!

Warmly,

Dan Klatt,
President of the Internet Marketing Organization

P.S. Notice the tone of this blog post, and how there is no sense of “oh no” or any negative feeling quality. Even though I take my responsibility as your WealthSensei very seriously and I’m used to being able to reach you whenever I want, the Twitter difficulty “just is” and so we calmly find another way to serve you, such as through this blog post and the back-up Twitter account.

They say “when one door closes, another one opens”. The point I want you to take from this is to never allow anything to take you off your place of Conscious Creation, or as I teach, your focus on only “that which gives you joy, inspires you and moves you closer to your goals, desires and dreams”.

Because you create your life based on what you’re focusing on, and how you’re focusing on it. And this is too important of an issue – your power – to use carelessly or unwisely by giving any attention to something you don’t want!

Hello My Friend,

How are you being of service?

Answer that on Twitter and powerful things happen – for you and for others, by putting it out there.

Before we talk about that, let me give you the quick background of how “aTwitterRevolution” came about.

I tweet quotes for the CarnegieCentre on Andrew Carnegie, Napoleon Hill, and myself. Follow me if you’re not, at http://Twitter.com/DanielKlatt

Today I was looking through old tweets that I wanted to reply to, and someone had thanked me for an important one:

COSMICEDICT RT @DanielKlatt so true thanks Danial “The ultimate work of each of us is to uplift, inspire and be of service.” – Dan Klatt

(I had forgotten that was my quote. I thought it was from Napoleon Hill.)

Reading that, my first impulse was to ask her how she is being of service.

Yet that touched off the inspiration for us all to start “aTwitterRevolution” and all share how we are Being of Service – AND – A Being of Service.

Let’s have fun with this!

Tell people how you are Being of Service.

And keep the [aTwitter Revolution] tag so we can all search on that and see how many people have joined our”Being of Service Revolution”!

Also ask others to read this post and retweet your tweet.

Why is this important for you, and how does it help others?

1. It focuses you. Things happen in response to what you’re focusing on and giving power to.

2. You’re meant to be of service – it’s within you to express and this gives you permission to do that. It’s also how you’ll be the most successful and happy, the fastest.

3. By expressing it, you put it into action. By declaring, succinctly, how you’re being of service to others, you’re subconsciously making the Decision to serve others in that way. Putting out that intention is extremely powerful, at a subconscious level for you, and at a superconscious level. Think of it as you’re a radio station and you just broadcast that signal to the world, so the right people can and will respond.

4. You’re able to then be of service in the way you have put out there. That sets into motion many positive things, such as you making a difference to others doing what you love, and who knows how much how you’re being of service will touch the lives of the people you’re serving, and how far that will continue touching the people their lives touch!

How can you and are you meant to be of service?

What is in your heart to do?

It could be connecting people with similar interests. Making people laugh. Inspiring them. Giving them joy. Helping them be more successful. Allowing them to reach more people with their message of hope. Helping them save money. Manage their time better. Raising an upstanding, responsible child (being a Mom as one’s way of serving is very noble and selfless, as any good one will admit).

Teaching others something that will enrich them. Helping someone else do that. Helping people live more comfortably, in better health – and preventing/minimizing pain.

Let me tell you a little story.

This morning on my daily walk I told a neighbor about the quote and how someone thanking me for it on Twitter triggered this whole “Being of Service” Revolution.

Kris said I could teach people to understand what being of service really is. I wouldn’t have thought to do that, because it’s such a part of who I am, I had no idea others may not be at that same point in their spiritual growth quite yet.

For example, he said people think going to work is being of service. He talks about the distinction this way: As someone selling water purification systems, he doesn’t go into their homes to sell them the new system, he goes in there to be of service to them, by giving them healthier and cleaner drinking water, which can improve their health and well-being, adding years to their life, possibly.
The difference between outlandish wealth, success, happiness and fulfillment - and average or even mediocre success is how strong your desire is. Here we learn how to catapult your desire so it consumes you and quickly moves you exactly where you need to be.... the secret key to Andrew Carnegie's vast fortune, in fact!

I read an interesting message on Mike Litman’s blog about the secret that made Andrew Carnegie one of the top two richest people in history.

Specifically, that secret comes down to 7 words:

“An obsessional desire to render useful service“.

Shortly I’ll share the comment I posted on Mike’s blog to his message, and I’d like you to share your thoughts, and how one feels compared with the other.

Of course Andrew Carnegie is the person who commissioned Napoleon Hill to devote at least 20 years of his life to compiling “The Success Philosophy”, the way anyone can become as wealthy as he or she desires

That, in fact, is ‘The Carnregie Vision”, which IS my “obsessional desire” to fulfill…. through YOUR results!

This is what I posted on Mike’s blog….

Thank you for this truly important message, Mike.

Interesting to note the difference between what Napoleon Hill teaches and Andrew Carnegie teaches.

It may be the same message, although Andrew Carnegie conveys it with such strength, and power, and ability to influence people and make it hit….

Well, let’s just say it’s clear why is legacy stands so strong still today!

In the way of comparison or contrast, Napoleon Hill talks about “obsessional desire” as “the white heat of desire”.

Sure it sounds good. And is a visual metaphor that’s easy to remember.

And it expresses the idea clearly.

It still does not resonate with the same level of juice as “obsessional desire” does.

Interesting to note the similarities…. and yet, the differences, between “The Original” and the “Second Generation Copy”, in a manner of speaking.

- We also go through more specific coaching on this through the “Recession Proof Your Thinking Live Coaching Video Training” that’s part of the Prosperity Fire Sale.

Contrast is an important part of feeling confident enough in yourself to boldy move forward and claiming what you desire, knowing you deserve it and that it’s meant to be yours.

For example if you’ve had “a few” setbacks or one major one, that may have deflated your confidence and made you feel like a failure.

It may have been so painful, you unconsciously told yourself that you will not go through anything like that again, so you have instead allowed yourself to be stuck where you were and given up instead of trying, because that trying to improve yourself might feel a lot like risking more failure and going through that painful experience all over.

So, instead, we want to find the right contrast.

No matter how bad things seemed for you, there are always plenty of examples of people who were much worse off than you.

For example is your computer crashed and you lost everything, well you were able to afford to have a computer, whereas hundreds of millions of people don’t even have running water, much less electricity.

Do you think they have any thought whatsoever about losing an e-mail or the links to the sites you visit regularly?

I realize that’s a simple example, yet the same principle applies to whatever happened that you have allowed as your “Mr. Alibi” that -previously- prevented you from moving forward and creating a better life.

When you’re finding the right contrast for yourself, focus on someone who overcame an obstacle far worse than yours, and acknowledge and accept the fact that he or she was no more bright or intelligent or smart or lucky or attractive or any other factor your brain could possibly use as a “Yeah But…!” to prevent you from getting started and taking action on what’s truly important to you.

For example, one of the top Internet marketers was once in my mastermind and he told me when I interviewed him earlier that he had unspeakable things happen to him when he was growing up. (He wouldn’t even talk about it with generalities because he just shut out that part of his past.)

That was obviously a sizable obstacle for anyone to have experienced.

And it would have been enough for most people to say “I can’t ___ (succeed, enjoy life, be happy, be loved, love someone, get a job, make a difference to others, amount to anything, be wealthy…. whatever it is you want) because I was (whatever happened, whatever you previously used as the rationale for quitting, giving up, not trying, being a failure – previously! — as your Mr. Alibi, as Napoleon Hill talks about it in Think and Grow Rich)

Most people take the easy way out.

They may try a little, although they give up when it starts getting hard.

Or when they feel like they’re going to fall flat on their face.

IN CONTRAST – the people we look to as your “Right Contrast”, the ones who accomplished great things, enjoyed wealth and success, and perhaps even a place in the history books….

They for sure went through the same challenges and hardships we all did.

It’s just that they persevered. They continued where others quit. They kept going and even started running when the going got tough – toward the obstacle, not away from it!

They even used it as the motivation to stay the course and go the distance, by making the firm, unfailing Decision to keep going at all costs and allow no other option but to push through to victory.

That’s a key point, how they took the challenge and used it to light a fire under their feet, and also how they kept that unwavering, undying focus and became blind to everything else (such as the challenge or “I can’t do this” garbage that most people allow to sabotage their success).

So what is The Right Contrast for you?

This guy I mentioned might be a helpful one for you. He went on to become very wealthy and well-known by a lot of people.

I doubt very much whether your challenge, in contrast, was any more daunting than his – and I know there’s nothing magical about him or his personality or skills that would allow him to do anything that you couldn’t do yourself.

Seriously think about these things, and then make the Decision – right now – that you will no longer let anything stand in the way of you achieving your Greatness, and fulfilling your Burning Desire and experiencing the life of your dreams!

Then hold to that, with that same unwavering, undying focus – until that experience is yours!!!

Resources:

I can help you keep that undying, unwavering focus so you keep your attention only on your Burning Desire and allow nothing in to throw you off course or distract you.

1. First I recommend you use the “Think And Grow Rich Subliminal Desire“ audio program every day, especially combining it with “The Secret” Custom Subliminal Software which makes every minute you’re behind your computer “Personal Growth Time” as it constantly reinforces what’s most important for you as it “Erases and Replaces” the old limiting beliefs and programming.

2. I also recommend you begin right away today using my “Focused & Fired Up!” System, especially the incredible “Feeling Great All The Time!” audio that I have you listen to begin your day, and whenever you need an instant rush of energy, power, excitement, motivation or stamina.

The whole Focused & Fired Up! System keeps you on track and laser-focused on the tasks you know you need to keep your mind on… until they’re done.

No matter what excuses you have allowed to hold yourself back, no matter how many reasons you have used as justifications for failing, others went through much worse circumstances and pushed through the challenges and went on to do great things. You can benefit from their contrast to overcome your fears and limitations and persevere until you’ve broken through yourself and are enjoying The Good Life, as well!

Today’s an interesting day for me, and I’m going to describe it so you can put yourself in my shoes and see how greedy you may be.

Let’s say you’ve been training a guy how to reprogram his thoughts for wealth, and it’s been working fantastically and he’s your star student… enjoying great results because he’s been getting it.

And he likes buying lottery tickets because he thinks you have to dream big and open yourself up to the big wins, and it just happens that tonight the lottery prize is $96 million.

Your star student has a really good feeling and he’s had you work your manifestation and focus YOUR great power on picking the winning numbers, through a whole series of numerology, intuition, instinct, even random chance, much of which was his system – and yet it’s also very realistic that the ticket he buys that could very well win was the numbers you intuitively felt were the jackpot takers.

And your star student keeps saying, “don’t worry, I’m not greedy, I’ll take care of you” and he’s painting this vivid picture including for you the $1.4 million Bugatti you’d love to have, you tell him about the $15.4 million house you toured last year and fell in love with, and he knows how important it is for you to fulfill your dharma by getting word out about your valuable materials to people around the world.

He keeps saying over and over how your stuff works, and works fast, and works far better than he imagined.

So you could even feel that he won the jackpot because of all the training and mindset reshaping you’ve done for him, and you know if it weren’t for you, he would not have won the big prize.

How much of the $96 million that he would win would you feel you’re entitled to?

Would you tell him how much you expect him to share with you and have a clear agreement about that before the lottery drawing?

What if he chokes at your request, do you make an issue out of it?

How about if he calls you because he left the winning lottery numbers in a place where only you had access to, and you took extra time reading the numbers off over the phone, so he could write them down again…. or for sure he would not have won – would that be worth more to you in terms of how much you expected him to share with you?

What if he made a comment to the effect of “I’ll throw you a million or two” – so you know he’s not talking about sharing half his winnings with you, even though he only won because of all the coaching you’ve given him, as well as more tangibly the work you did to help him get the winning numbers, which you probably even picked from your intuition?

Interesting questions, would you agree?

Or, would you be aware of the influence of greed and not be seduced by it, and instead do all you can to be of service to your student, because that’s important to you to serve him as well as you can, and the results of being of service (how much money he makes through your assistance, as well as what you get in exchange for helping him) is irrelevant, because you were just doing what you need to do, with no thought of getting anything in return – and you let it go?

And what if he also talked about him winning the $96 million and being your greatest success would give you global attention as proof of the power of your materials, which then would get you more clients and allow you to do your work more effectively and allow your work ot serve its purpose (as though he’s hinting at that being enough of a reward)?

These are interesting questions, especially if you know that money is just an idea, and energy, and you have the power to create as much of it as you desire – and even more to the point that any money you create is just the reflection of what’s in your mind, the thoughts you empower through attention, and the external world is only a reflection of what’s inside you.

It’s a real-world “final exam” you might say.

How did you respond to it?

Did you keep your focus within – and even celebrate his winning the $96 million…. being as happy and joyful as he was to have won all that money, without knowing whether he’ll even share a penny of it with you?

If you know the teachings and have done as Andrew Carnegie implores each of us to do and reined in your mind, yes, you will have done that.

What did I do?

At first I did have the notion to talk to him about sharing half the money with me, not to write it down or make a contract, just to talk about that as a friendly agreement. Then I let it go and instead just trusted that this will play out according to the Greatest Good, as it always does.

There also was the impulse to pay for half of his $22 ticket purchase as a way to solidify the symbolism of us being equal partners in this. Although I did not offer to do that. (Actually, when he called saying he forgot the numbers, he did ask about me buying the tickets for him, so I could have done that and made sure I was an equal partner. I instead chose to suggest I read the numbers over the phone.)

“What are you, an idiot?” I can hear a few people thinking

Well, lottery tickets are really not my chosen way of serving the masses, because they promote “something for nothing”, the idea of taking without giving an equal or greater amount, and promote dreaming instead of being of service and taking action. At least that’s not how I’m meant to act on my Burning Desire to ensure that “The Carnegie Vision” is fulfilled through your results, meaning that you have the ability to become as wealthy as you desire.

My dharma is different than that. At the same time, I remain open to a billionaire giving me the means to fulfill my purpose. And I even have conceptualized “The Billionaire Manifesto” where I organize the world’s wealthiest to agree on the responsibility they have to use their money to benefit everyone.

These are my ways. My friend’s way is different, and I respect, support and honor that difference.

With no expectation to get anything other than what he may feel to share with me, from his $96 million lottery win.

How about you, how would you feel if that much money were within reach for you? It’s an interesting way of measuring the strength of your convictions and how true you are to yourself, knowing, for example, that your beliefs – you – are not for sale at any price, because you’re worth a whole lot more than any material amount.

It’s quite revealing to think about these things.

Please share your thoughts with us in the “Think And Grow Rich Mastermind”, which is an important way I’m able to be of service. If you’re not a member yet, it’s free when you’re in the “CarnegieCentre Bronze Membership”, which is almost ridiculously inexpensive, considering you’re also getting something that costs others $197, the “Rediscover Think And Grow Rich E-Course”, among several other things.

By the way, was there every any doubt about him being able to win the $96 million?

None. Because he gets my teaching at such a high level, and I’ve already seen him use it to manifest the love of his life, where they were absolutely perfect matches for each other and giving each other deep kisses, about 20 minutes after they met. And he wanted that love more than he wanted money, so he’s already manifested his greatest Burning Desire (kind of, which is up to him whether he wants to share more about that).

By the way, follow along yourself, by doing the “CarnegieCentre WealthChat Prosperity Intensive“ yourself, without having to pay the $197/month you’d expect to pay, because for how it’s actually free at WealthChat.com!

So far the first six videos are uploaded and set up for you to go through.

By doing the $96 million greed test, you’re able to see how strong your convictions are, and whether you would compromise your values at a price – or hold true to those values (and strengthen them). Based on something really going on, right now.
